We're no strangers to the one day itinerary and when the Edgewater Hotel invited us to spend a night literally on top of the water, we jumped at the chance to film our perfect day on the Seattle Waterfront. As per our typical trip, we explore as many parks as possible, walk an urban trail, and dine on the most delicious local offerings - all with our pup in tow.

In our very first on camera "host" style video, my husband Zeke and I are sharing our perfect Fall day around our home base of Seattle, Washington. We'll take you to our favorite gluten free bakery in the city along with other spots to get some of the best warm eats on a Fall day. In between eating some great food, we'll show you around two of the many awesome city parks we have here in Seattle.

A winter weekend getaway to the Washington State coast always runs a risk being enveloped by stormy weather. At least on the Long Beach Peninsula, that doesn't have to mean any lack of fun. From wild winds to bald eagle sightings - there's plenty to see and do on a rainy day.

About an hours drive from Seattle, the hike to Snow Lake is one of the easiest routes to access the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. On a bright sunny day in July, my husband, our Vizsla pup, and I hiked the 8 miles or so to and from this popular alpine lake.
