The Times The Are A Changin'

Forgive the horribly cliche post title, but I'm actually a huge Bob Dylan fan. At one point, during my college days, I had a bunch of tank tops with his lyrics puffy painted on them.

Anyway, it's a new year and I've got a couple of goals for both this site and beyond. I've also got a brand new puppy in the house that's competing for my time and attention, so it will be interesting to see how this all works out.

I'm going to up the travel content on this site; as of today you will see a new page entitled "Sleep". Here you will find a list of places I've actually stayed and have found interesting, unique, or just plain reliable. After my travels, I will also begin to write reviews of noteworthy places and will link to the reviews on the new page. If I get to see or do some particularly interesting things, I'll also make sure to include information on that as well. You'll see that some of the other page titles have also changed to reflect a more consistant theme but all of the information is still there.

I'm also hoping to save up my pennies and invest in some basic lighting equiptment. In summer time, Seattle is great for photographing in the early evening. However, in the winter time it's just horrible and since I have a regular 8-5 day job, most of my cooking and experimenting happens at night.  Any suggestions on some good basics would be much appreciated. In the mean time, I'm going to start making use of the quirky photography the iPhone offers for nighttime photos.

Completly aside from all things traveling and gluten free, I'll also be gearing up to open my own Etsy shop in late summer! I'm planning to sell some knit items, sewn items, and a couple of other crafy bits. Suggestions for shops names or creations are highly encouraged!

I predict that 2012 will be a great new year!
