Spending Quality Time With Life
With the holidays nearing, it's time for me to take a much needed break. Since I missed out on many of my favorite holiday traditions last year due to my deployment, I'm making those traditions my number one priority this year and taking some time off from both my day job and from this space to enjoy them.
Put in simpler terms; it's time for me to breathe a little slower and spend some good quality time with life.
Over the next four or so weeks, I'll be spending time with my mom here in Seattle and on a short mother-daughter trip to Portland. After Christmas, my husband, Parsley, and I will head out on an adventure to Lake Tahoe - to meet up with friends from our hometown (a tradition in it's 13th year!). Back in Seattle, I'll be taking a little extra time to get some great content for this site churning and put some work into getting another few projects off the ground.
I'll still be sharing my adventures on Instagram - so make sure to follow me there for photos of delicious Portland food, gluten free holiday traditions, plenty of pictures of Parsley in one of her three new coats, and lots of snowy western landscapes as we make our way through at least four states on the drive to our Tahoe cabin.
I wish you all the most merry holidays and a fantastic New Year's Eve celebration!
