Creative Log: Hand-painted Greeting Cards

Because sometimes you just have to start somewhere.

As of today, the shop I've been planning since the redesign is open and two sets of hand-painted greeting cards are available for purchase! It's a small step towards building something bigger, but it's a step that got me to open the shop.

Each card is one of a kind. Sketched with a Micron pen (no pencil to start with) and hand-painted with a combo of watercolor and gouache paint. Keep in mind that with all things handmade, little quirks are part of the package and with all things digital, the colors you see on your screen may not be exactly the color you see once you get your card. My take? The colors on the cards are for the most part way more vibrant then you'll see in their pictures in the shop.

So, I'd say that's a win.
