And I'm Back!

We've conquered many a hike and travel adventure and made it back to the states safely.  We actually left Christchurch the morning of the big earthquake there less than 2 hours before it hit and were in the Auckland Airport when it was announced over the loud speaker what had happened.  Our plane was delayed getting out of Auckland to account for the delays all over the country. But we made it back and were welcomed to freezing temperatures and snow in Seattle.

In the coming weeks I'll have gluten free (and one not so gluten free) adventures to share about Auckland, Waitomo, Wellington, Nelson, and Fiordland.

Some other upcoming travels will include more around the Seattle area, another visit to Portland, and a trip out to Emmitsburg, Maryland.

I'll also get back on the cooking horse and post more recipes soon.
