Creative Log: The Tofino Collection on Society 6
Remember about ten months ago when I launched my first surface pattern design collection and shortly after shared two different handmade pieces made with it? Well, real talk, I still have the fabric for two more sample products tucked away in one of my fabric boxes. And frankly, things in life got reprioritized during those last ten months - creative business pursuits had to be put aside.
Well the good news is, we've made a major shift in our lives which has allowed for me to have both more freedom of time and creativity in my life. That being said, it's also meant restructuring a bit on how my creative businesses work. For a long time, I was dedicated to the idea of making everything myself, by hand. I love to do it, but I also personally appreciate the craft nature of handmade goods more than anything else. I put handmade on a pedestal. That's all well and good when you have the income to support purchasing the components for your products - and at one time I did, or at least it appeared that way on the surface.
So in this push to rebuild my creative work, I have to think smarter and leaner on the investment front. And so we find ourselves here - where I announce that some of the Tofino Collection designs are now available as print-to-order products in a Society 6 shop! I've tried to select the items and designs that fit well together based on my own personal aesthetic - but if you see something missing that you'd love to order, I'll do my best to make it reality if you let me know!
On a second note, keep your eyes peeled for the coming release of my second pattern collection! I'm waiting for my first samples to come via snail mail and can't wait to get them both in my Spoonflower shop and into some Society 6 designs!
