Trip Video: Canadian Rockies
I'm back from my blogging break and what better way to come back than with a bang! Specifically the bang of a brand new, albeit overdue, trip video.
Making this video was my favorite editing experience to date - with so much footage to work with, I got to really whittle the clips down to the cream of the crop. Many of these fantastic images were shot by my husband - including the fabulous preview image of the icefall from the Angel Glacier in Jasper National Park.
Road tripping and camping in the Canadian Rockies is simply a must do for any traveler who favors the outdoors.
There's a plethora of scenic sights, hikes, and activities to keep you coming back for more. For the summer months, or the brave in the winter months, the campground options are fantastic - I've been comparing the shower facilities at Jasper's Wapta Campground to those of a nice gym. Additionally, while I packed most of our two week supply of food, the grocery stores in most all towns have some pretty decent gluten free options.
After this road trip, my third through the Canadian Rockies in the summer - I'm planning the next one to see these beautiful sights during the winter. For now though, I'll keep savoring this most recent road trip and all the beautiful sights I got to see with my husband and our pup, Parsley (obviously the star of the video).
