1. The Gate

This vegetarian restaurant is right up the street from our flat, hidden on a quiet side street near Hammersmith Bridge. We've shared many beautiful meals here, most recently a 5-course set menu for Valentines Day, all with inventive and exciting flavors. The menu offers lots of vegan and gluten-free options, including desserts, so for that reason, we visit as often as possible! Even our friends with non-restricted diets love it here.

Gluten Free In Anchorage, Alaska: Returning After Two Years

It's been almost exactly two years since I was last in Anchorage, but 2012 will be a pretty Alaska heavy year for travel. I've already got two other trips planned in July and August. On this trip I was able to find some great new-to-me gluten free friendly eateries that I will definitely be returning to. I also visited some old favorites and was pleasantly surprised with a new menu addition at one of them.

Gluten Free in Tahoe City, California

 

On our (almost) annual trip to Lake Tahoe this year I discovered this wonderful little shop with a great selection of gluten free and other allergen friendly foods.  They also have a nice variety of healthful produce, things like kale, collard greens, and other seasonal yummies.  If you're headed to the North (West) Shore of the Lake Tahoe area this is definitely your stop for some yummy friendly foods!
